Delivery Q&A

How will the building be delivered?

If you are like most people, when looking for a storage solution for the backyard, your first question is, “will my backyard be damaged?.” At Dutch Country Sheds, we understand your concerns! After all, many of our staff are avid gardeners and understand the work that is put into your backyard oasis. We use the latest in delivery equipment to keep the damage to an absolute minimum. Take a look at the video below for a first-hand look at the equipment and processes used to bring your new building into place with little to no effect on the surrounding environment.

What site preparation do I need to do before delivery?

Every site is different! A staff member will call you shortly after you order your building to confirm the order. At that time they will assess the site with Google Maps and pictures that you take of the site, if necessary. They will let you know what you will need to do to prep the site.   Sometimes, no preparation is required. In other cases, you may want to consider a different location to avoid having the door access side being to high off the ground and sometimes concrete piers are the best way to ensure your building will stay solid for years to come.

Does the customer have to be home for the delivery to take place?

We absolutely love when our customers are home for the delivery. It’s the best way to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the placement of your building!

How long will the delivery and installation take?

Our average install usually take 45 minutes. The timeframe is dependent on the size of the building, ease of access and how level the site is. Installation can take up to 2-3 hours.
